Unit 361

I'm just doing my last few questions to finish this unit & need to know what resources are sensitive to environmental changes?

It is not clear from the

It is not clear from the standards what this is covering. You need to consider this question with regard to the measurements that you are taking. It might be easier to wait until you talk to your assessor and ask them for more detail on what they are looking for.

HSC27

I am training as an A1 assessor. My mentor has asked me to assess 3 candidates on HSC27. I know I have to plan the assessment with Candidate and write up my observations on s/nvq6 form but what else do i need to do as I have my portfolio and my candidates portfolio to fill. My mentor not over helpful and that is being kind.

All help appreciated . Ps what does the "S" in S/Nvq stand for

An SVQ stands for Scottish

An SVQ stands for Scottish Vocational Qualification.

Firstly, you need proper support. You should have various people aroung you. An internal verfier, a countersigning NVQ assessor, and your A1 assessor. Two of these roles may be taken by the same person. One of these should be able to help you get to grips with the role of the assessor. If not then consider raising this as a issue with the assessment centre or change assessment centre.

Focus on your assessment of the candidate. This is where you will get the experience and produce the evidence that you need. It will also support the candidates to make progress and feel motivated. If you can go and watch an experienced assessor working.

Good luck
