NVQ Assessor - Health and Social Care
Hours - 37 Per Week
Location – Hull and East Yorkshire Area
Salary – £20-28K/dependant on experience

Job Description
Health and Social Care NVQ Assessor -You will be required to take a caseload of candidates where you will have regular meetings to support them through the NVQ process with a targeted number of candidates to complete on a monthly basis. As part of this role you will also be required to complete documentation on learner records, and liaise with verifiers and management to complete learner portfolios to agreed time scales. The position requires regular support/assessment visits to the candidates place of employment, so it is essential you possess a driving license and your own transport as the role will involve travelling to various sites to assess individuals in their work place.

Additionally you must have excellent customer relation skills and the ability to seek out new business opportunities for the company. This exciting position will enable you to draw on your experience to help candidates achieve NVQ's in the workplace. You should be qualified to Level 3, an NVQ level 4 qualification is desirable although not essential and you should hold an A1 Assessor Award. Applicants must be occupationally competent with at least 3 years experience in a care environment and be experienced at assessing at this level. You must be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of care and NVQ Assessor standards.
