Using this forum

Hi to all NVQweb forum visitors

Just a couple of practical guidelines and conditions to help you use this board.

You are very welcome to ask a question. When you are on the right screen you will see a new topic link. Just press this and ask away.

All posts will be archived after about two weeks to the Candidate PLUS section of the site.

You are also very welcome to answer questions. When you are looking at someones message you will see a reply or add comment link.

This board is moderated. If needed the moderators are able to move, delete or edit messages, so do not worry if you get something wrong or change your mind. Note we may also use these powers to keep things above board and confirm with the NVQweb policies.

One important policy is that the board should not be used to seek answers to a list of questions relating to specific units. We aim to support rather than just provide answers to cut and paste.

When posting or answering messages we do recommend that abbreviation, short hand and jargon are avoided NVQs are about the job that we do everyday.

When answering on matters relating to national requirements do try to refer to specific guidance documents. Try to clarify between national requirements and personal recommendations.

Remember that guidance given on this board is personal opinion and does not aim to represent official guidance. For official guidance and requirements please refer to your NVQ Assessment Centre or awarding body.

If anyone can suggest anything else that should go in this message please let us know.

Please enjoy your visit
