Welcome to Candidate PLUS

Subscription is required for this section... Candidate PLUS provides independent support to learners and candidates engaged in NVQs who work within health and social care. Inside Candidate PLUS at NVQweb you will find:

  • Skills for assessment -  a series of articles that explain NVQs and their assessment. This covers topics such as; working with an assessor, portfolio building, candidate accounts and understanding assessment methods.
  • Learning links - a database of links to Internet sites that offer reliable information on topics relevant to NVQ units. Includes many frequently asked topics such as human development and legislation.
  • Forum archive - Search our NVQweb forum archive for answers to your questions. Includes posts going back five years.

The aim of Candidate PLUS is to support you with understanding and achieving your NVQ. Whilst independent, it is there to complement the support provided by your own NVQ assessment centre, assessor and workplace and will always encourage you to work closely with these parties. It does not replace the need for an assessor or for centre support.
